Natural Wisdom

A Practical and Spiritual Journey Home

with Ian Watson & Clare Tanner

The magic and power of nature is that it can stop our busy mind in its tracks and bring us into the stillness and beauty of the moment.
— Clare Tanner

Our second journey of Natural Wisdom through the four seasons will commence with a new group in January 2019.

What is the Natural Wisdom Programme?

A gentle journey of discovery across the four seasons, exploring the principles that underpin our lives and pointing us back to our true nature as human beings. We will connect more deeply to our natural essence and explore our innate capacity to live peaceful, creative and fulfilled lives.

Understanding our interdependence with the whole of nature and our unique way of experiencing life as human beings, enables us to more easily navigate the ups and downs of life. The positive impact of taking the time to understand this more deeply results in an ease and balance in life that arises effortlessly as we rest more comfortably in our true nature - a feeling of being at home.

I’ve experienced a truly wondrous year and know my life will never be the same. Our last two days were special and really brought home the inter-connectedness of all things.
— Trudy Corsellis, Natural Wisdom Participant 2018

Who is it for?

This programme is open to everyone and will be of particular value and interest to those who are curious about exploring nature, psychology and spirituality in a practical way that enables you to:

• Increase your creativity & connect with your life's passion

• Resolve relationship difficulties effortlessly

• Relax and enjoy your life now, not in some imaginary future

• Release yourself from negative conditioning, old wounds and painful memories

• Quit struggling, striving, trying too hard & doing too much (have you noticed how unhelpful they are?)

• Increase efficiency & productivity - achieve more with less effort

• Let go of any destructive habits and behavioural patterns

• Breathe easier and eliminate stress by understanding how it gets created on the inside

Wow what a journey it has been. A wonderful experience with an ever deepening awareness and connection to nature and to you all.

Being steeped in nature and the Wisdom that brings is just the best tonic ever. Thank you so much Clare and Ian for having the insight to make this happen.
— Donna, Natural Wisdom Participant 2018

What will we learn?

During this year long personal development programme we will do as nature does……

Nature reminds us that life is good and has a magical way of evaporating our busy thoughts. It opens us up to the joy of being alive and a gratitude for all that it offers us in our experience of life and living.

The seasons reflect different aspects of our humanness and provide a rich seam of inspiration for our personal journey of exploration. We will use the cycles and seasons of nature as a framework to guide our time together and inspire a deeper connection to our own true nature.

The four seasonal two-day retreats will be woven around the following themes.....

Waking up to who we are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be.
— Alan Watts

Winter

Our first two-day retreat together will take place in the winter, in the space before growth. This is the time for turning inwards and quiet curiosity, to become comfortable in the not-knowing and the stillness/nothingness that precedes creation and new life.

This is the perfect time to set our intentions together for the year ahead and make personal commitments to the things we would love to create and the old habits we want to leave behind. Taking our inspiration from the beauty and wisdom around us, including each other.

We will explore the spiritual and psychological principles that underpin how life works and create a foundational understanding for our journey together through the seasons. Taking time to connect to ourselves, each other and the beauty of nature.

We will explore how rest and rejuvenation is essential to the cycle of life, for the creation of new energy and how the ebb and flow from formless to form shapes our resilience. We will take a moment to pause in our own personal experience of nature and what this can teach us about ourselves.

This is the ideal time to just be present. To listen. To go deeper. The perfect practical space to prepare the ground for new projects, commitments and actions. This quiet place of creative incubation will bring us questions, ideas and thoughts that support our intentions. We can observe them and allow them to germinate in preparation for the new energy and green shoots of spring.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes. Even you.
— Anne Lamott

Spring

In our second retreat we will embrace the exuberant energy of spring-time, opening ourselves up to the possibilities beyond. This natural time of new growth reminds us of our own creative potential and our capacity to have new thoughts and ideas in any moment.

We will nurture our intentions and the ideas we have been quietly incubating over the winter months as we have rested and renewed. We can take action to give back to nature those things that have been getting in the way of us healing relationships, letting go of unhelpful habits or realizing our passions and creative projects. Taking the time to more deeply understand and harness our creative power and its presence in every moment.

Together we will nurture our new seedlings, ideas, insights and support each other into bringing them to fruition. Just as the plants and trees are interdependent, so are we. Harnessing our collective creative potential and the spirit that supports that growth, to birth our projects, heal relationships and accelerate our natural productive capacity.

Spring is natures way of saying - Lets party!
— Robin Williams

Summer

Our third retreat will be in the summer season of blue skies, exuberant colours and clear waters (hopefully!), where nature is in full bloom. For us gardeners it is a time to stand back and enjoy the fruits of our labour, alongside the ongoing watering and nurturing to keep the plants healthy and vibrant.

We will take time to connect with our true nature, in nature, and to take inspiration from the bountiful display surrounding us.

When plants are ready to bloom, they bloom - they don't hold back, saying 'we're not ready'! Nor do they make any unnecessary effort to come to fruition. When you're attuned to the rhythm of nature, life itself supplies the energy needed and takes care of the outcome.

We'll take time to acknowledge our gains, however small or large they may be, and to recognize the power of appreciation and gratitude for what we have been blessed to receive.

What a great experience it has been for me to be around you all as we seasonally dipped in and out of Dartington. What a space we created in which to reflect and reveal our collective wisdom. How wonderful to experience the space within to witness our insights and to feel the presence of such love.
— Michael Brown, Natural Wisdom Participant 2018

Autumn

Finally, we will slow things down a little and create space for reflection and celebration.

As we come together we will celebrate our shared journey, take a look at the path we have traveled and reflect on the insights and collective wisdom that has contributed to our experience.

We can take all the learning, discoveries and observations and go forward into the next year armed with a new sense of clarity and both a spiritual and practical understanding of ourselves as human beings and our innate capacity for wisdom, peace and well-being.

Thank you to Clare and Ian and all the group for this last year of Natural Wisdom. Such richness, wisdom, acceptance and support for being human.
— Gail Minter, Natural Wisdom Participant 2018

We are nature. Being clear that there is an ebb and flow annually, seasonally and in every moment creates a certainty that we can navigate the undulations of life and harness its natural rhythms to support us to live, love and create our most fulfilling lives.

It is this wisdom, the wisdom of nature and our innate capacity to live a connected, creative and rich experience of life that this group programme will explore and celebrate.

Love is what is left when we let go of everything we don’t need.
— Eric Shiffman

Where and When?

Our journey together will be in the beautiful setting of Dartington Hall in Devon with lots of opportunity to explore the beauty of nature on the grounds of the estate.

Wholesome, locally-grown organic food is available at the Dartington Hall eateries. We will also have the joy of experiencing the beautiful gardens and estate in all the four seasons which will bring us closer to the nature of life and how this creates inspiration for our personal journey and hopes for the programme.

Click Here for Information on our Current and Upcoming Programme

Refreshments, food and accommodation are available on site at Dartington Hall - click here for details. Please note these are not included in the course fee.

We have a shared love of nature and a passion for guiding people back to their innate wisdom, creativity and well-being.

Through collaboration and combining our interests and talents, this new programme has emerged organically as the perfect vehicle for us to co-create something together that we know will be deeply nourishing and transformational for both the participants and ourselves.

We look forward to welcoming you onto the programme.

Lancaster, Practitioner Workshop with Ian Watson

How to stay true to yourself and be helpful to others…..

If you are a health-care worker, coach, educator or have any kind of helping role - professional or non-professional - this workshop is for you. Drawing on over thirty years experience, I would love to share what I have found to be most beneficial and helpful, both for you and for those you are serving, no matter what the context.

My own journey took me through fifteen busy years as a homeopathic practitioner and teacher, followed by a further nine years exploring every kind of psychological and emotional healing technique that I could find. I was also a lifelong spiritual seeker, looking to understand the deeper questions of life, death and everything in between.

Since I began learning the Three Principles understanding nine years ago, all of my work shifted in a profound and fundamental way. I was finally able to understand how and why we get lost psychologically and emotionally, and how we can come back home to ourselves at anytime.

There was seemingly much less to do, and yet the results were deeper and more sustainable than ever before. I found I had a solid ground as a practitioner that I had never experienced before, as I began to see the innate wellbeing that exists inside everyone.

There are enormous benefits to learning these simple principles and discovering their implications. First we have to see it for ourselves, through our own insightful realisation. Then, from our own understanding, we can share what we have learned in a way that is deeply impactful for others.

Since 2013 I have been training people to facilitate this understanding to others, and many of my colleagues in the helping professions are now incorporating these principles into their work, bringing benefit to themselves, their families and their clients.

What are the Benefits?

For Practitioners -

  • Renewed enthusiasm & enjoyment

  • Focus on what is right with people, not on what is ‘broken’ or ‘lacking’

  • Reduced stress levels - more ease

  • No more burnout or over-responsibility

  • Increased confidence in ability to help those who are struggling

For Clients -

  • Empowered to find their own answers via their own wisdom

  • No requirement to access past traumas and painful memories

  • No techniques or practices to remember

  • Lasting freedom from unhelpful habits of thought, feeling and behaviour

  • Greater resilience, no matter what they are up against in life

Wellbeing Immersion Day with Ian Watson

The River Lune, near Halton Mill

There exists a deep well-of-being inside each and everyone, including you.

A place of inner peace and beauty where you feel at home, no matter where you are. Where you feel secure, no matter what you are up against in life. Where you know what is right for you, without knowing how you know. Where possibilities arise that would have seemed unthinkable only moments earlier.

We all have moments in life when we temporarily fall out of the frenzied busyness of doing and into the quiet ease of being. We return to the world refreshed in body and rejuvenated in spirit. Life is exactly the same, and yet something is different. We have had a glimpse of a whole new way of being in the world.

Wellbeing is intrinsic to our essential nature. It appears as if it can be lost or diminished, but in fact it remains constant at all times. Only our experience of wellbeing can and does vary, and when we see the truth of this through our own personal insight, it elevates our consciousness and transforms our experience. The well-of-being becomes more available to us in our daily life, leading to less suffering and more ease.

During my immersion days we explore the simple principles that underlie our life experience, and a space is created where we can gain insightful understanding into our own true nature. We gain a fresh perspective and take things less personally. We learn to let go of what was troubling us and come home to ourselves right where we are.

These principles were first uncovered by Sydney Banks in 1973, and he found that they were universal in nature which meant that anyone could find the truth of them within themselves. He began to share his realisation via informal gatherings in his own home, and the beneficial effects were so profound that people traveled from far and wide to be present.

In the same spirit, I love to hold these gatherings in peoples’ homes and similar spaces up and down the country and share what I have learned on this journey so far. They are relaxed, informal and open to all. The days are lighthearted and enjoyable, yet the insights gained can be profound and even life-changing. This day will be suitable for those who are new to this understanding as well as those wishing to deepen their awareness.

Devon, A New Paradigm for Mental Health - Now Booking

A Workshop for homeopathic practitioners and students hosted by the South West Homeopathic Group.

A New Paradigm for Mental Health

In 1973, an ordinary working man named Sydney Banks did for the field of mental health what Samuel Hahnemann did for the medical field almost two centuries earlier. Through a series of profound insights, Banks uncovered the universal principles (known as The Three Principles) that govern our entire psychological and emotional experience.

Learning these simple principles has a powerful, transformative effect that enables people to re-align with their innate wisdom, wellbeing and resilience. No techniques or practices are necessary, as it is personal insight alone that brings about rapid and sustainable change.

For those in the helping professions, an understanding of these principles brings an end to over-responsibility, stress and burnout and provides practitioners with the capacity to guide their clients back to the source of their own mental and emotional health, fostering true independence and ongoing resilience.

These principles have transformed my own life and work, and I know they will do the same for you and your clients.

Three Principles Immersion Day in Cambridge

with Ian Watson - *Last Place Remaining*

In 1973, an ordinary working man named Sydney Banks had a series of extraordinary insights into the nature of the human experience. What he came to realize will one day be viewed as a turning point in the evolution of our collective consciousness.

In essence, Syd Banks uncovered the universal principles that govern our entire psychological and emotional experience. These principles provide a rock-solid foundation for understanding how we function, what we are really up against when we struggle, and how we can regain our peace of mind at any moment.

The Three Principles are not something to be memorized and understood intellectually, but must be realized via your own personal insight. My small-group Immersion Days are intended to create a conducive environment in which insight occurs naturally and learning is effortless and enjoyable - exactly as it was designed to be!

An Immersion Day will be perfect for you if you:-

  • Are completely new to the Three Principles and curious to learn more (or are simply wondering what all the fuss is about!)

  • Have heard or read about the principles but feel like you didn't quite 'get it' yet or would like to deepen your understanding

  • Have an intellectual grasp of the principles but have yet to experience the impact of your own insight

  • Are interested in learning about a new psychological paradigm that is transforming the mental health field

  • Would like to enjoy less stress and more ease in your life, work and relationships

Why not come and join me at this Three Principles Immersion Day in the historic city of Cambridge. We will spend the day in a relaxed and friendly small-group setting (8 - 12 people) where we can learn, interact and deepen our understanding together.

I'll be drawing on my own experience of sharing the principles with a diverse range of individuals and groups over the past eight years, including business leaders, healthcare practitioners, therapists, coaches, teachers and school children.

There will also be plenty of opportunity for interaction and questions, as it is only through your own insight and realization that these principles come alive for you.

Note: Ian's previous small-group immersion days have all been sold out, so please book early to be sure of a place.

Venue: The Immersion Day will be held at a private home in Cambridge. Address details and directions will be provided when you make a booking.

Date: Friday 27th September 2019

Time: 10am - 5pm with a lunch break around 1pm

Fee: £85 including refreshments

The Key to Mental and Emotional Health

A one-day workshop with Ian Watson

Thursday 4th July at Halton Mill, nr Lancaster

The State We're In

In the UK, at least one in four people will experience some kind of mental health problem in any given year. The Office for National Statistics estimates that one in ten children (age 5 - 16) has a clinically diagnosed mental health disorder such as anxiety, depression or some kind of behavioural issue. One out of every twelve to fifteen children are thought to deliberately self-harm.

In 2014, over 57 million prescriptions were issued for antidepressants in England alone - a 500% increase since 1992. Around 1.2 million prescriptions were issued for children to treat 'hyperactivity disorders'. Psychiatric drugs are now routinely prescribed to treat an ever-widening range of problems including weight control, sleep disorders, low confidence and mood swings.

The provision of mental health services currently costs around £7 billion annually in the UK, and the wider economic costs are estimated to be at least £70 billion annually.

Against this backdrop of ever-increasing numbers of people suffering despite the widening range of treatments available, it is becoming apparent that something fundamental to our understanding of mental and emotional health has been largely overlooked.

Ian’s personal life journey of seeking practical solutions and spiritual insight to the human condition makes him a perfect facilitator of the Three Principles understanding.
— Robert Barker

A New Paradigm for Understanding Mental & Emotional Health & Resilience

In 1973, a man named Sydney Banks uncovered the 'missing link' in our understanding of how our psychological and emotional experience of life gets created. Through his own direct insight, Sydney Banks was freed from chronic insecurity and was able to articulate the principles that underpin mental and emotional health in a way that others could grasp and thereby free themselves from their own suffering and life struggles.

The radical new understanding that Sydney Banks stumbled upon began to spread via word of mouth under various names, including Health Realisation, Psychology of Mind, Innate Health and the Inside-Out Paradigm. Today, it is most commonly referred to as the Three Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness, and it continues to transform people's lives throughout the world.

In contrast to the complexity and contradictory nature of so many existing psychological theories, the Three Principles provide a simple, consistent foundation that explains what psychological and emotional well-being and resilience really is. It reveals the simple fact that everyone has access to well-being and wisdom at all times, and we cannot lose our innate mental health, although we may well lose sight of it.

On 12th November 2016, I attended a Three Principles workshop with Ian Watson, and my life changed forever!

I’d go as far as to say, he saved my life. Not from suicide, but from the tyranny of my own thinking. My life used to be a disappointment of what it wasn’t. Now it’s a celebration of what it is.
— Frank Foley

What This New Paradigm Means

Some of the key implications that arise from an understanding of these principles include:

  • Everyone has innate well-being and resilience on the inside, no exceptions

  • Peace of mind and well-being is the natural state of all human beings

  • The past has no power to create ongoing psychological suffering

  • True, lasting psychological and emotional healing occurs via insight and a shift in consciousness, not from techniques, practices or prescriptions

  • Changes in body chemistry are a reflection of a person's state of mind, not the cause of it

  • Life events and circumstances cannot create stressful feelings in and of themselves

  • Other people have no power to create your feelings - only you can do that!

  • Destructive behaviours and habits arise in response to internal distress, and fall away naturally by themselves when inner peace is restored

After a lifetime working in the field of well-being and personal transformation, the Three Principles understanding transformed and simplified my work, and has formed the basis of all my workshops, trainings and individual consulting work since 2011. I was fortunate to train with two of the pioneers in this field, Dr Mark Howard and Cathy Casey, and was inspired by the simplicity, consistency and sustainability of a principles-based approach.

“I can honestly say that the workshop was probably the most profound I’ve ever attended.”

— Claire Stilling, London

Whether you would like to learn or deepen your understanding of the principles of innate mental health for your own benefit or to help others, this workshop will provide a comprehensive foundation.

Natural Wisdom

A Practical and Spiritual Journey Home

with Ian Watson & Clare Tanner

The magic and power of nature is that it can stop our busy mind in its tracks and bring us into the stillness and beauty of the moment.
— Clare Tanner

What is the Natural Wisdom Programme?

A gentle journey of discovery across the four seasons, exploring the principles that underpin our lives and pointing us back to our true nature as human beings.

Some participants join us for the whole year, others are welcome to attend one or more individual retreats, space permitting.

Our summer retreat is on June 27th - 28th, and you can book a place below if you would like to join us.

Wow what a journey it has been. A wonderful experience with an ever deepening awareness and connection to nature and to you all.

Being steeped in nature and the Wisdom that brings is just the best tonic ever. Thank you so much Clare and Ian for having the insight to make this happen.
— Donna, Natural Wisdom Participant 2018

What will we learn?

On each of the four 2-day gatherings, we will do as nature does……

Nature reminds us that life is good and has a magical way of evaporating our busy thoughts. It opens us up to the joy of being alive and a gratitude for all that it offers us in our experience of life and living.

The seasons reflect different aspects of our humanness and provide a rich seam of inspiration for our personal journey of exploration. We will use the cycles and seasons of nature as a framework to guide our time together and inspire a deeper connection to our own true nature.

Summer

In our summer retreat we will be in the season of blue skies, exuberant colours and clear waters (hopefully!), where nature is in full bloom.

Where and When?

Our time together will be spent in the beautiful setting of Dartington Hall in Devon with lots of opportunity to explore the beauty of nature on the grounds of the estate.

Wholesome, locally-grown organic food is available at the Dartington Hall eateries. We will also have the joy of experiencing the beautiful gardens and estate which will bring us closer to the nature of life and how this creates inspiration for our personal journey and hopes for the programme.

Three Principles Immersion Day in Whitstable

with Ian Watson THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED

Venue: The Immersion Day will be held at a private home in Whitstable. Address details and directions will be provided when you make a booking.

Spring

In our spring retreat we will embrace the exuberant energy of spring-time, opening ourselves up to the possibilities beyond.

Natural Wisdom

A Practical and Spiritual Journey Home

with Ian Watson & Clare Tanner

The magic and power of nature is that it can stop our busy mind in its tracks and bring us into the stillness and beauty of the moment.
— Clare Tanner

UPDATE : The Natural Wisdom programme for 2018 commenced in January and will continue through to October. If you'd like to join us for one or more of the remaining two-day retreats at Dartington Hall at a pro-rata rate of £300 per retreat, email Ian and, space permitting, we will do our best to accommodate you

What is the Natural Wisdom Programme?

A gentle journey of discovery across the four seasons, exploring the principles that underpin our lives and pointing us back to our true nature as human beings. We will more deeply connect to our natural essence and take a deeper look at our innate capacity to live peaceful, creative and fulfilled lives.

Who is it for?

This programme is open to everyone and will be of particular value and interest to those who are curious about exploring nature, psychology and spirituality in a practical way that enables you to:

Increase your creativity & connect with your life's passion

Resolve relationship difficulties effortlessly

Relax and enjoy your life now, not in some imaginary future

Release yourself from negative conditioning, old wounds and painful memories

Quit struggling, striving, trying too hard & doing too much (have you noticed how unhelpful they are?)

Increase efficiency & productivity - achieve more with less effort

Let go of any destructive habits and behavioural patterns

Breathe easier and eliminate stress by understanding how it gets created on the inside

Winter

Our first retreat together will take place in the winter, in the space before growth.

Programme Dates

There will be four seasonal two-day retreats at Dartington Hall in Devon, to be held on the following dates:

25th - 26th January 2018
12th - 13th April 2018
28th - 29th June 2018
4th - 5th October 2018

In between the attendance days we will also meet six times virtually as a group to reflect and share insights and discoveries and provide space to ask questions and gain support for your own creative projects, challenges and new ideas.

If you'd like to join us for one or more of the remaining two-day retreats at Dartington Hall at a pro-rata rate of £300 per retreat, email Ian and, space permitting, we will do our best to accommodate you

Edinburgh, Three Principles Immersion Day with Ian Watson

Three Principles Immersion Day

with Ian Watson

in Edinburgh, Scotland

The Principles of Innate Health
In 1973 a Scots emigrant to the West coast of Canada named Sydney Banks had a series of spontaneous, life changing insights that revealed to him how the mind actually works and what is our true inner nature. He subsequently came to realize that he had uncovered the psychological and spiritual principles that underpin every kind of human experience.

As Syd Banks began to share what he had realized, people would have their own insights and their lives would start to change, without any need to analyze their problems or go back to their traumatic memories. Stressful and painful feelings - and the coping strategies that go with them - would fall away naturally and effortlessly as people regained access to their innate wisdom and well-being.

What became known as The Three Principles represents a new psychological paradigm that has been transforming lives throughout the world ever since.

These simple principles guide you back to what is fundamentally true for all human beings. They reveal and confirm what you probably knew intuitively all along – you have everything you need on the inside already, and so does everyone else. The only variable is the degree to which you realize this fact through your own insightful understanding.

What to Expect
Ian's immersion days are an ideal opportunity to discover the true nature of the innate well-being, mental health and resilience we all possess. The purpose of the day is to create an informal and friendly small-group setting where we can learn, interact and deepen our understanding together. Whilst the learning process is relaxed and enjoyable, the insights gained are deep, profound and life-transforming.

Since learning these principles in 2011, Ian has become a leading teacher and trainer of principles-based facilitators in the U.K. and beyond. Ian will be drawing on his own experience of sharing the principles with a diverse range of individuals and groups over the past seven years, including business leaders, healthcare practitioners, therapists, coaches, teachers and school children. He has also shared these principles with a group of former homeless people as part of a program created by the Pret Foundation.

Date: Tuesday 19th June 2018

Would you like to deepen your certainty in and alignment with your innate wellbeing?

This one day immersion is for anyone who has already had a taste of learning about universal innate resilience principles - and would like to go deeper. You will have already attended one of our Wellbeing workshops or be familar with the three principles.

Ian Watson, Founder of the Insight Space and Wellbeing Specialist and Educator is offering an experiential deepening in understanding of the innate resilience principles and the truth of our inside-out experience and true nature.

We will dive deeper into the source of our natural wellbeing and the wisdom that guides us.

What we'll cover:

We will respond to each group's interest and needs and will be likely to cover content such as:

  • What are the three principles?

  • Our true essential nature

  • The source of peace of mind

  • What it is we can truly trust and have faith in - no matter what is going on around us

Our Approach

We know that every single person has innate mental health and well-being, and we want you to know that too.

We don’t give advice, use techniques or tell people what to do – rather we educate and explore universal principles of how wellbeing works and how an understanding of these can help people to naturally access the mental health and resilience they already possess.

As a result of our approach people are able to have their own insights and answers into their own situation – as it is these personal insights or ‘a-ha’ moments that are the agent of real and lasting change.

Ian will be co-hosting the day with leadership coach Elizabeth Lovius.

Remembrance & Re-awakening

A Virtual Programme with Ian Watson

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.
If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.
— Gospel of Thomas

We're living in a time of tremendous upheaval and turmoil. Old structures are crumbling rapidly, existing models are no longer fit for purpose, and we don't yet know what is going to replace them. There was a time when we could turn to an outside authority to show us the way forward, but that time is past. The so-called experts are lost, too, caught up in the same whirlwind of transformation as the rest of us.

What can we fall back on, when we are surrounded by such chaos and uncertainty?

Is there a source of deep, inner wisdom that we can tap into and bring forth that will enable us to keep our bearings and to move forward in a positive direction, despite the challenges we face?

Can we access our innate well-being and resilience, no matter what is happening in our personal life circumstances?

Whilst there is no 'five-step', one-size-fits-all formula that will be helpful to everyone, we can each remember and re-awaken in our own unique way to the sacred knowledge that lies dormant in every human heart.

That same knowledge is embedded in all of the great spiritual, religious and mystical traditions, if we can but have the eyes to see it and the ears to hear it. The ancient myths and legends allude to it. Music, poetry and the visual arts stir our memory of what has been obscured but never completely lost. Our own dreams and fantasies offer up glimpses, as do the forms of nature that we find resonance with.

In this brand new online programme, I invite you to join me for an exploration and excavation of the wisdom of the ages that is both timeless and timely, as relevant today as it has always been.

We will explore the spiritual truths and universal themes that form the backdrop to our daily life, and uncover the points of resonance within your own body-mind that are ready to break through into consciousness.

The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe - to match your nature with Nature.
— Joseph Campbell

In this way we link the personal to the impersonal, the individual to the collective, the local to the universal. Doing so provides us with a broader perspective, a deeper understanding and a higher vantage point from which to journey forth. It helps us to make sense of life and to find a deeper meaning and purpose that can truly sustain us through the darkest of times.

In all chaos there is a cosmos. In all disorder a secret order.
— C.G. Jung
