Homeopathy is a 200 year-old system of healing that has deep and ancient roots, yet is at the forefront of current medical practice in terms of its effectiveness, depth of healing potential and safety. There are two main reasons why homeopathy continues to spread worldwide despite relentless efforts to discredit and eradicate it. The first is quite simply because it works, provided the remedies are correctly prescribed. Once people experience results that they never knew were possible, their doubts and initial skepticism tend to quickly evaporate. The second reason is because it is built on a foundation of core principles which are true, i.e. they are in alignment with the laws of nature, which never change.

Anyone can benefit from homeopathy without ever having learned much about it, and it’s wonderful that some of the commonly used remedies such as Arnica are now becoming widely known. However, to truly appreciate and understand what homeopathy is and what it can do, you have to grasp the principles behind it - only then does it really begin to make sense. Not only that, as your understanding deepens, you will realise that the healing potential of homeopathy goes way beyond anything you had previously imagined.

Homeopathy is controversial because it challenges many of our existing ideas about health and disease, and what is considered to be possible in terms of cure. According to skeptics and materialistically-minded scientists, homeopathy can’t possibly work based on the assumptions of the prevailing biomedical model. And yet, homeopaths have known for centuries that it can and does work, often when everything else has been tried and failed. It is the adherence to an outmoded model that is the problem here - homeopathy is first and foremost an energy medicine that is patiently waiting for medical science to catch up with it!

I can confidently tell you that when you begin to understand the fundamental principles behind the art and science of homeopathy it will literally open up a whole new world for you . My Homeopathic Journey

I first began to study and experiment with homeopathic remedies back in 1978. I had acquired a few ancient text books and was gifted with this rather rustic home remedy kit by a work colleague around 1980. It had been in this person’s family for many decades.

As my studies continued, by chance I heard about a college in London offering practitioner training and I signed up immediately, commencing in 1985 and graduating in 1988.

After completing my homeopathic training I moved to the Lake District and opened the first full-time homeopathic clinic in Cumbria. I quickly realised that when people experienced the magical effects of homeopathy on themselves and their children and animals, they were keen to learn more about it, so I began to give talks and run introductory classes which were hugely popular. Over time, there were people who wanted to go even deeper and train to be practitioners, and in 1993 I co-founded a homeopathic training school called The Lakeland College, of which I was the Course Director for the following ten years.

I went on to write and publish four homeopathic books, all of which remain popular with students and practitioners to this day. As a result of writing my books, I was invited to teach at homeopathic schools all over the world. I also presented hundreds of seminars and workshops on homeopathy, some of which are still available as audio recordings.

I haven’t visited a doctor now for over four decades, relying entirely on homeopathy and other natural healing modalities to assist my recovery whenever I have been ill. My two children have been treated homeopathically since birth, and I can’t begin to tell you how empowering and reassuring it is as a parent to be able to look after your own family using remedies that are tried, tested and totally safe.

Although I retired from homeopathic clinical practice some years ago, I have continued to draw on the wisdom of homeopathy in my daily life. In response to the current global situation, I created a homeopathic help sheet that is freely available to download and use, and many people have kept their families healthy through this crisis using homeopathic remedies.

Why I Created This Programme

I realised recently that the knowledge and experience I gained through my background in homeopathy has a value that goes way beyond giving me access to an alternative method of treatment. Learning homeopathy transforms the way you think and feel - not only about health and disease - but about life itself. And it became very apparent to me during our current situation how humanity is suffering from a lack of true knowledge about this incredible healing system..

My intention in creating this programme is for you to gain your own deep understanding of what homeopathy is (and isn’t), how it actually works in practice, and why it deserves to be your medicine of first choice in the 21st century. More than ever before, we need to take responsibility for our own health-care, and I want you to feel confident and resilient in doing so.

In this course, I won’t be telling you (for example) what remedy to take for a headache or a cough, because I would much rather you learn how to prescribe than have me tell you what to prescribe. If you understand the fundamental principles, you will find it relatively easy to treat a wide range of common ailments by yourself, and you will also know when to consult with someone who is more experienced. In this way you will continue to learn and grow in confidence.

Week Three: The principle of Susceptibility - How & why we get sick, how we can be more resilient, and how homeopathy catalyses our own innate self-healing capacity to promote recovery

Week Four: Homeopathic Materia Medica - How to learn the remedies that are most useful for you & your family

Week Five: Understanding Disease from a Homeopathic Perspective Part 1 - First aid & acute diseases (including epidemics)

Week Six: Understanding Disease from a Homeopathic Perspective part 2 - Chronic Diseases & Inherited Predispositions

Week Seven: Homeopathic Case-taking and Remedy Selection - How to observe & listen without prejudice; learning which signs & symptoms are more or less important for choosing the best-indicated remedy

Week Eight: The Principles of Cure - How to assess the effects of ANY kind of treatment & understand the difference between a genuine healing response, palliation (temporary relief) and symptom-suppression

Week Nine: Basic Case Management - How to follow-up, when to change the remedy or potency; when to stop treatment
